Born and raised in Malaysia, Richard Yee Thiam Poh enjoys watching anime, cartoon and movie from a young age. He then took up a foundation course and finished his studies in Multimedia University, Malaysia with a bachelor degree in animation & visual effects.
After graduation, he joined several small scale studios, honing his skills, gaining experience working on projects from video ads, 3D short animation, program packages, explainer videos, promo videos to logo animation. Considering himself lucky, he was given two opportunities, to work in a foreign, creative studio and to love someone. Thus he moved to Taiwan on 2019.
Currently, he is freelancing, looking for collaboration and short/ long term job opportunities.
When he is not working, he loves spending time with his wife and enjoys taking a walk or riding a bike at the parks nearby.
