The National Center of Photography and Images (NCPI) came to fruition as a result of the 2015 Ministry of Culture "A plan of Rescuing National Photographic Assets and Establishing a Center of Photography and Images". NCPI is now housed at a restored building in Taipei that was originally used as the Taipei branch of Japan's shipping company during the Japanese c0lonial era (1895 - 1945). This center/ museum will serve as an arena for the exhibition, education and promotion of Taiwan's photography and image arts.
To celebrate the newly established NCPI building and promoting its commitment to promote the heritage and development of photography and image-based art, a promotional video was introduced.
